Niels Vink (NED, n°1), who defeated his compatriot Sam Schröder, is now three wins to two in Grand Slam finals, following his defeat in January at the Australian Open. However, the young Dutchman had to work hard to turn the tide in a poorly-started match, then maintain his lead and finally break his doubles partner 3/6 6/4 6/4.

At just 20, Niels Vink wins his second title at Porte d’Auteuil and third Grand Slam crown. But before turning his attention to one of the two titles missing from his trophy cabinet, Wimbledon, Vink will undoubtedly want to win back the French Riviera Open after losing the 2022 final to Schröder.

Schröder – Vink. Vink – Schröder. It’s a duel that’s sure to keep the Quads tables lively for years to come.
