Women’s doubles: Kamiji & Zhu crowned champions

The finals day of the French Riviera Open 2025 opened with a thrilling women’s doubles clash between the Dutch pairing Jiske Griffioen / Diede De Groot and the Japanese-Chinese duo Yui Kamiji / Zhenzhen Zhu.
After the Dutch swept through the opening set (6-1), Kamiji and Zhu fought back strongly to take the second (6-2). The decider turned into a nail-biting battle of nerves, with the Asian pair edging the tie-break to seal victory 1-6 6-2 (10-8). A final full of drama and emotions – the perfect start to this closing day.

Men’s doubles: Houdet and Caverzaschi light up the Mouratoglou Academy

The men’s doubles final brought an electrifying atmosphere, amplified by a live fanfare and a packed crowd. Martin De La Puente / Ruben Spaargaren took the opener 6-3, before Stéphane Houdet / Daniel Caverzaschi hit back 6-3. The deciding set turned into a spectacular duel, concluded in a super tie-break where Houdet and Caverzaschi triumphed 6-3 3-6 (10-7) – a breathtaking victory and a fitting climax.

Quad singles: Sasson vs Schröder for the title

The semi-finals of the Quad singles produced two very different stories. Israel’s Guy Sasson showed no mercy against teenage sensation Jin Woodman, overpowering the Australian 6-0 6-1 with an authoritative display that confirmed his status as one of the game’s most consistent performers.
On the other side of the draw, the Netherlands’ Sam Schröder had to stay focused to subdue Chile’s Francisco Cayulef, who fought bravely before bowing out 6-0 6-4. The stage is now set for a high-voltage Quad final between Sasson (World No.3) and Schröder (World No.2).
